Brothers, we are a vibrant council. Our charities are a work in progress. The Annual Nuns Brunch served by our Woman's Auxiliary will be coming up. And, the Special-Needs Children Party chaired by Billy Breen should be in the planning stages.
The kitchen stove & oven have been replaced with more modern ones (upgraded to convection ovens) and smoke detectors installed. The prep-table was put on casters to make cleaning easier and the table movable. Also, the exhaust hood was serviced and tied into the new equipment per code. So now the kitchen can be painted.
Nominations will be accepted at August's meeting. Elections will take place during the August meeting officers elected will attend a meeting once a month, for approximately one-hour.
Sincerely,
BOD Members for Methuen Council K of C #4027.

Learn About Us
The Knight's of Columbus are a Fraternal Organization of Catholic gentlemen dedicated to the four principles of our order:
Charity - Unity - Fraternity - Patriotism
The Knights was formed to render financial aid to members and their families. Mutual aid and assistance are offered to sick, disabled and needy members and their families. Social and intellectual fellowship is promoted among members and their families through educational, charitable, religious, social welfare, war relief and public relief works.
The history of the Order shows how the foresight of Father Michael J. McGivney, whose cause for sainthood is being investigated by the Vatican, brought about what has become the world's foremost Catholic fraternal benefit society. The Order has helped families obtain economic security and stability through its life insurance, annuity and long-term care programs, and has contributed time and energy worldwide to service in communities. The Knights of Columbus has grown from several members in one council to more than 13,000 councils and 1.7 million members throughout the United States, Canada, the Philippines, Mexico, Poland, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Panama, the Bahamas, the Virgin Islands, Guatemala, Guam and Saipan.

Special Message and a hearty thank you!!!
Thanks to our local Pepsi Cola Company for the soda donation for the Special needs party. This is several years in a row they have donated to the cause.
I am sure the function would not be the same without their generosity.

Welcome to our new 4027 homepage
This Homepage is dedicated to the members of this Council who in some way contributed to achieve the success of the Methuen Knights of Columbus, Council 4027. We would especially like to remember the members of the Founders Class, members that contributed to the growth of the Council and all the departed members who were a major factor in the history of the past half-century. With their foresight, leadership and endurance and for our obligation, vigilance and perseverance this Council has achieved outstanding success through these many years. Because of the dedication to promote the virtues of Charity, Unity, Fraternalism and Patriotism, the Methuen Council has been one of the most outstanding and successful Council in the jurisdiction of Massachusetts. The Supreme Knight and State Deputies have recognized our Council for the great contributions made to promote Columbianism and the ideals of the Order.
The Council can be very proud of these achievements. It has experienced triumphs and defeats but has still endured in Unity to promote our faith in God, Country and Family. There have been many people that made the Council 4027 what it is and we appreciate all of them! Their tireless effort and self-sacrifice has given us so much to be grateful for during these many years. To all the officers, past officers, members, Lady’s Auxiliary members and friends who in any way contributed to this success, the Methuen Council Knights of Columbus wish to express a grateful thank you for this outstanding achievement in the past fifty year.
We would also especially thank the wives and families who gave the moral support to attain this success. Again, these past fifty years have brought their share of up’s and down’s but the members have always been there to mend the pickets on the fence of our Council.
Our Members, Ladies Auxiliary and departed brethren's goodwill is still felt within the walls of the 4027 and stories abound of their benevolence, charity and faith… It is our fervent prayer that the Methuen Council Knights of Columbus will be around for many years to come. God bless and keep us---always!
